What Is Dye Sublimation?

 

Dye sublimation is a printing technique that uses heat to transfer graphics, images and other designs onto fabrics. The ink used in dye sublimation is changed from a solid to a gas in an instant, causing the ink to fuse with the fibers of the material on the molecular level. Unlike some other printing methods, which print on the surface of the material, dye sublimation makes the ink part of the apparel.
